Does pain affect your daily life?

We understand your frustrations with pain. Pain can be debilitating and cause you to miss out on your normal every day activities. Book yourself in for an initial acupuncture treatment at our Brisbane Acupuncture clinic. Your treatment involves a pain consultation, followed by a suggested treatment plan that is tailored to your unique pain condition.

Brisbane AcuBalance acupuncture clinic has substantial experience in acupuncture treatments for various types of pain, including chronic pain, headaches, neck pain, shoulder pain, back pain, knee, calves and feet.

Your Acupuncture treatment

Your acupuncture treatment will commence with a discussion on pain, including pain levels, affected range of movement and affected functional activities.

How does Acupuncture work?

The mechanism of how acupuncture works continues to be studied. To simplify acupuncture's role in pain management is acupuncture stimulates the production and release of brain chemicals (endogenous dynorphins : endogenous beta endorphin)(1, 2)
